Oliver Harvey to supply new Simon Rogan restaurant at Claridge's

British manufacturers of chef clothing, Oliver Harvey have been chosen to supply two Michelin stared chef Simon Rogan's new London venture. Fera at Claridge’s marks the return of Rogan to London and is his first location there since the closing of R'Oganic in 2013.

Oliver Harvey are one of the only manufacturers of premium chef clothing in Great Britain and are based near Manchester where all production takes place. Set up in 2010 after perceiving a lack of quality, British made chefs wear in the market, the business has already made a name for itself becoming the brand of choice for many chefs.

The contract with Fera will see the rapidly expanding business supply over 200 chef jackets and nearly 500 aprons over a 2 year period. All of the aprons to be used at Fera have been designed on a bespoke basis to provide a unique look for the ambitious new opening and ensure the chefs look as good as the food they hope to produce.

Ian Mitchell, M.D of Oliver Harvey praised the decision by the Claridge’s team and Simon Rogan stating; "Claridge’s are one of the highest quality hotels in Britain and Simon is well known for his focus on organic British ingredients. We were thrilled that their commitment to provenance, quality and local sourcing has continued through into their choice in chefs clothing".

This is not the first time Oliver Harvey have supplied chef whites into an entire restaurant with Manchester House, who recently featured on BBC2's Restaurant Wars, selecting to use them for their ambitious opening last year.
