The chef hat was once the defining aspect of a chef uniform however, modern tastes have seen chef hats becoming increasingly unwanted and unused. Instead, the modern chef skullcap is being highly sought after due to its slimmer profile and more comfortable fit. We developed our chef skullcap to ensure that chefs get the highest quality and most practical headwear available.

Our chef skullcaps are made from high quality PolyCotton and have a coolmesh crown in order to allow heat to dissipate and air to circulate. The coolmesh crown is one of the most important features that we developed for these skullcaps and took special care to develop a design that allows us to strongly sew the two fabrics and avoid weak spots. We also wanted to ensure that a snug fit could be achieved no matter the size of the wearers head. While this could have been achieved with multiple sizes, we often find that people don't really know the size of their own head too well.

The addition of the Velcro strip was the perfect way to achieve a one size fits all chef skullcap while not comprising on the comfort or aesthetics of the hat. The Velcro strip adds significantly to the manufacturing and cutting processes that the skullcaps go through however, we think the effort is well worth it for the quality of the finished product.
