Our Custom Cross Back Aprons are officially award-winning!

Oliver Harvey's custom cross back aprons have won The Caterer 2016 Product Excellence Award for Best Workwear Product.

Two months ago, we wrote a blog that said this…

“Every now and then, brilliance gets recognised. It’s why we have ceremonies like the BAFTAs and Oscars, and why we award Nobel Prizes annually.

Our version of a success like this is being nominated for an industry award… you know where this is going.

Our custom cross back aprons have been nominated for The Caterer’s 2016 Product Excellence Awards, in the Workwear category. The ceremony will be hosted in Vincent Square, London on the 1^st December.

The Product Excellence Awards recognises some of the best food, equipment, gadgets and gear in the catering industry today.”

Well… we won the award!

Judged by a panel of industry experts, our custom cross back aprons fended off high calibre competition from Chaud Devant’s brilliant recycled-materials chef jacket to scoop the award for the Best Workwear Product of 2016.

Our MD Ian Mitchell was present to collect the trophy at the ceremony in London.

This is Oliver Harvey’s first industry honour and hopefully not our last. We aim to bring you the best possible products in every possible category of workwear and we look forward to claiming more trophies in the future. We may even need to invest in a cabinet!

In all seriousness, though, we wouldn’t have been able to claim this accolade without the support and love we receive from our customers. We’re in a fortunate situation where we have an ardent and vocal fan base on and offline that not only spread the word about Oliver Harvey, but also keep us in check and hold us to the high standards we aim to maintain.

All we ask is that you keep pushing us to strive for more: better products, better services and more awards.
