THE YORK CHEF JACKET STORY
The York Ladies Chef Jacket is cut specifically in a style for female wearers in order to provide a better fit and shape over our unisex jackets. We designed this jacket because there is not always a one size fits all option and we want to accommodate to all chefs, women included.
Each York chef jacket starts like any other jacket we make; a roll of cotton, a spindle of thread and a box of studs. Once we have cut the rough shape of the front and back outline of the jacket, we tailor the shape with curved seams which gives it a more flattering cut for women. We also include a split side seam to ensure a tailored look and more comfortable fit. Crafted from sustainable materials which not only reduces the environmental impact but also optimises comfort.
The concealed press studs are used to give the ladies chef jacket a more modern and smarter look. It also stops the metal studs from becoming hot while cooking. We cut the button placket with a stylish curve to give it a more feminine appearance.
One of our finishing touches in manufacturing the jacket is the addition of our red branded tax tab to the side seam. This adds a small design element and a touch of contrasting colour to the smart look of the chef jacket. After this, we stick the collar detail and wrap the jacket in our branded tissue paper. All of this work takes nearly 2 hours to complete and the end result is a stunning ladies' chef jacket, tailored just for you.

You can now add personalisation to Oliver Harvey products online. Simply follow the steps above to start adding personalisation to your products. Once your order is confirmed and you are happy with the sample, we will complete your order. Please expect 10-15 working days for delivery once a logo sample has been approved.
We will always get in touch to confirm the specifics of your personalisation.
If you add a logo to a product there is a £30 set up cost to pay however, once this is set up, you can reuse this logo on future orders. Each application of a logo costs £3.50 and text costs £2.50 per application. If you choose to have a large logo placed on either the front or back of a product there is an additional £5 cost per location.

Care Guidelines
Do not bleach this Chef Jacket. You may dry clean this jacket with any solvent except Trichloroethylene. Machine wash at 60oc. Iron carefully on a 2 Dot (Warm/150oC) heat setting. Tumble dry on a low heat setting.

UK Delivery Options
We have 4 delivery options for orders to mainland UK;
Economy Delivery - 5 Working Days. Under £25 = £5. Over £25 = FREE.
Express Delivery - Next Working Day. Under £25 = £10. Over £25 = £5. Over £150 = FREE.
Express Delivery 10:30 - Next Working Day before 10.30am. Under £25 = £25. Over £25 = £20. Over £150 = £15.
Saturday Delivery - Saturday Delivery. All orders = £30.
Exceptions
Express Delivery options are only available on items where we have stock for express delivery. This is indicated on product pages and at the checkout with a tick icon.
Personalised orders are delivered within 10 working days (upon sign off of logo if applicable).
Non-standard orders are delivered within 5-10 working days.
Non-standard items include: certain chef shoes (as stated on product pages), t-shirts and polo shirts, shirts and blouses and accessories.
International Delivery Options
International and Non-UK Mainland orders will take an additional 2-5 working days on top of the above depending on destination country.
Ireland orders above £150 are free. Orders below £150 will cost £10 (ex. VAT).
Delivery prices for International orders range from £10-60 depending on location, these prices will be shown at the checkout when you select your destination country.
You may be liable to pay an import tax from your host country, your local government office will be able to provide details.
