The Cheshire Chef Jacket is a premium jacket with coolmax side panels. The addition of the breathable coolmax sports fabric ensures that you keep cool and comfortable while working. To further aid cooling and comfort, we use a specialist premium cooltex poly cotton fabric which is far more breathable than cheaper fabrics.
We designed the Cheshire chef jacket to have a bold styling, modern lines and a closely tailored fit. To make the jacket, we first start by cutting the rough shape with our advanced fabric laser cutter. When we have the front and back panels that make up the jackets, along with both long and short cut sleeves, we stitch them together. We use a quality cotton thread and double stitch seams to increase the strength and durability of our jackets.
When the basic shape of the chef jacket we then cut the opening, add the sleeves and make a space for the premium coolmax fabric panels. These panels run from the arm seam all the way to the bottom hem. On one of the hems, we have a fabric arrow detail with a subtle Oliver Harvey embroidered in ivory cotton.
The final touches to be made to the jacket are the sewing of the pen pocket on to the left arm along with the addition of our signature red tax tab. Once the final threads have been trimmed in our finishing department and the chef jacket has been checked for quality, it is wrapped in tissue awaiting a new owner.

This jacket looks great especially if you take care of it, I have a lot of respect for my jackets and this one especially because it is one I wear on a daily basis for busy services. I keep it washed it whitener and iron it every time before I wear it. The coolmax side panels are a massive bonus, before I found Oliver Harvey I was wearing the £8 jackets which were heavy and got very hot in service. This jacket and all of the Oliver Harvey jackets I have are very lightweight and they keep you cool in service which of course enhances your overall performance.
