Both are manufactured in a lightweight yarn-dyed fabric (35% cotton/65% polyester) and feature branded non-tangle ties and a cloth loop. They are priced at £15 and £10 respectively. Fed up with tearing your trousers and aprons around the kitchen? If so, check out our range of Oliver Harvey "Ripstop" products which includes executive chef trousers, plus bibs and waist aprons. They have a nylon thread woven through them, in an interlocking pattern, that provides extra strength and prevents the fabric from tearing or ripping, a particularly useful feature in a hectic kitchen environment. Although tough, "Ripstop" material is lightweight and versatile, lending itself to comfortable yet practical chefswear.

Oliver Harvey sponsored this year’s WorldSkills 2011 event earlier this month. There were over 150,000 visitors attending the four day event which involved fierce competition amongst over 1200 competitors in 46 events, including a chef skills contest sponsored by Oliver Harvey.
WorldSkills is a unique global competition where young people from across the world compete to become the best of the best and it is the largest international vocational skills competition in the world. At stake was the honour of being the greatest in the world at their chosen skills with competitors vying for the chance to win gold, silver or bronze medals, while medallions for excellence were also awarded to competitors who achieved the international standard.
Oliver Harvey’s target audience is perfectly suited to the profile of the young, up and coming chefs who took part in the event. We are therefore delighted to be partnering what we believe to be one of the premier events for young people who have a passion for cooking.
